Baptism is a means of grace for the believer, but how shall we receive that grace if we never dwell on all that was being pictured when we were cleansed in the waters? There is a richness and a fullness in the act of baptism that cannot but be a blessing if we approach it prayerfully.
It is the purpose of these meditations to help us all to focus on our baptism and to derive the blessing and the grace from it that is the Lord's intent in giving us this command.
